Nanny placements allow your family to search for the right nanny based on your personal specifications. Our team will prescreen nanny candidates for you and send you only the top few percent of applicants meeting your needs. To get started, call us to describe your personal needs. Tell us about your children and what you look for in their child care provider. Let us know the wage you are comfortable paying and any special qualities in personality or experience that are preferred. In home meet and greets with a University Sitters representative are available upon request and can greatly assist in the placement process. Once our team has an understanding of family preference, University Sitters will go through our on file candidates and pre-screen new applicants for potential matches and ultimately schedule interviews between client and sitter. When a match has been found, we will help schedule trial dates and work as a liaison between both parties. We will also walk both parties through early negotiations and contractual agreements. The nanny that you decide on will be background and DMV record checked and will be CPR certified. You can decide to pay on your own schedule and at your own pace (once weekly, twice monthly, etc.). Taxes will be the responsibility of the family, whereas with the sitting service, taxes are dealt with between the sitters and University Sitters. Nanny candidates all meet the following criteria: At least two years in the child care field either as a nanny, day care worker, teacher, camp counselor Clean background check and DMV record Has a professional and kind demeanor with a clear enthusiasm for children and child development Education background preferred especially in the early childhood education field Has a current CPR and First Aid Certification Meets the specific needs of the family. This is our number one priority. We will listen carefully to make sure that we understand the particular and unique needs and find the person best suited to accommodate. Pricing: Nanny placements with University Sitters are available at a competitive 10% of yearly gross (shorter term placement price available upon request). With your placement, we will offer 4 months of free subscription to University Sitters for back up sitting. A 20% deposit is required on all placement contracts upon commencement of search.
